At the LJ logo screen, while pressing Start/Stop, press & hold Selector Control for 2 seconds then release.
Use the screen to select each feature in turn. For each feature, select a Voltage and use the Selector to adjust the test point reading as close as possible to that specified. Press Selector to store the Tune value associated with the reading.
Press Save to save the calibration for that feature.
Repeat this process for all features before finishing the calibration procedure by calibrating the pedals.

Enter Engineer mode as follows to calibrate test point voltages:
- Set Charge Port to Disconnect.
- Use Selector to navigate to ’About’ on the display and select. S/W version is displayed.
- Press and hold Selector, then very short press Start/Stop. Press Selector to exit.
- Use Selector to navigate to Engineer.
- Press the Selector to edit.
- For each feature that requires calibration of multiple voltages, use the specified dial to select a voltage. Then
scroll the Selector to adjust the test point reading as close as possible to that specified. Scroll the specified
dial to select the next voltage. Press Selector to store the Tune values associated with the readings.
- Use the Selector to scroll to the next feature.
Note - The following settings are pre-configured and can be skipped - SD, 1st, StartStop, ChargePort,Enc Volt, Enc Temp, Isolation.
| Feature | Dial to select configuration | Configuration | Test Points | Desired reading |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 0V | N/A | 0V | 8.4 & 8.5 | 0V |
| Aux Battery | HV Battery Voltage | Aux 11.3V Aux 12.7V | 5.3 & 5.4 for both readings | 11.3V 12.7V |
Important - Only press Selector after setting 12.7V value | ||||
| HV Battery | HV Battery Voltage | HV: 000V HV: 100V HV: 200V HV: 300V HV: 400V HV: 424V | 7.1 & 7.2 for all readings | 0.0V 10.0V 20.0V 30.0V 40.0V 42.4V |
Important - Press Selector after each setting. The value may look like it has been overwritten with the default value but this is not the case, simply use the HV Battery Voltage control to select the next value and methodically continue through the process. Once the final value has been set you can verify the critical values (295 to 400V) by leaving the multimeter connected and adjusting the HV Battery Voltage control. Ensure onscreen value matches your measured value x10. Note that small deviations, up to 5%, will not impact the results achieved when using the trainer. | ||||
After the final adjustment use the selector to exit Engineer mode. The panel is now ready for use.

FAQs
Q) Do I have to do the calibration procedure?
A) On the 740 & 741 panels at least the pedal positions must be calibrated. However, for accurate results we strongly recommend carrying out the whole procedure.
Q) I think I may have made a mistake with the calibration. What should I do?
A) Don't panic! Simply re-run the calibration and overwrite any values that you think may be incorrect.
Q) My values are more than 5% from the desired value. Is my panel faulty?
A) Almost definitely not. Low values, outside the normal operating window of the device, often give an inaccurate reading. This isn't a problem as these values will never be used during normal operation so an approximate figure is perfectly sufficient. When setting your 100V setting on the HV battery, for example, don't be surprised to see a value 20% off the desired reading. When you get to the operating values (300 to 424V) you will see the accuracy increase dramatically.
