If you are experiencing issues with the VCL software you may benefit from using our alternative VCL.exe. Please download the VCL.exe from the link at the bottom of the page and follow the instructions below. 

Note - You will need admin rights on the PC to perform this, check with your system administrator if you require assistance.


  1. Click the link below to download the VCL.exe
  2. Use File Explorer to navigate to the location where the VCL software is installed. By default this is C:\Program Files (x86)\LJ Create\VCL 
  3. Create a folder in which to store the original VCL.exe. This will allow you to easily restore it at a later date if needed.
  4. Using the right mouse button click and drag the VCL.exe into the folder you just created and select the option to "Move here" 
  5. You can now add the alternative VCL.exe. This will most likely be in your downloads folder. Again use a right mouse button click and drag and select the option to "Move here".
  6. Try the software by launching the VCL.exe from the program location. 
Tip - If the software performs as expected you may wish to create a shortcut to save time in future. To do this, right click the VCL.exe and select "Create Shortcut". This shortcut can be placed on your desktop or pinned to your start menu for easy access.


Note - You may get a warning that the file was blocked because it may harm your device. This is a standard warning for all exe files. Simply click the three dot icon and select the option to Keep the file.
