The Allen Bradley Connected Components Workbench (CCW) Standard Edition is available as a free download from the Rockwell Automation site. Please visit the following link for the most up to date software for your Allen Bradley PLC.
Scroll down to the Download Software section where you will see a link to Download the Standard Edition.
Click Select Files and choose the files you want to download ensuring that Connected Components Workbench Standard is selected.
You will require a Rockwell Automation account. If you have one already simply sign in otherwise you will need to click the Create an Account button and follow the onscreen prompts.
Click the shopping cart Downloads button to begin the download of your selected options.
Once you have accepted the EULA terms an exe file will be downloaded which will allow you to launch the the Rockwell Automation Download Manager. Alternatively you can click the Direct Download button for the option of Direct Download links.
Tip: If you select the Direct Download option you will find that the software is supplied in two parts, an exe file and a rar file. Please ensure you download both parts.
Once downloaded run the exe file to extract the files.
Tip: The extractor can take a few moments to run, be patient as clicking the exe again will cause it to run twice!
Take note of the extraction location as you will need this to complete the installation. Once extracted go to the newly created folder and run the setup.exe following the on screen prompts.
