The LJ ClassAct II has features in place to ensure that users don't open the same lesson in two places simultaneously. This can however sometimes lead to a message stating that the lesson is already open, locking the user out of that particular lesson.


If this happens log out of the system from all your devices and wait for at least 60 seconds. When you log back in the system should have released the lesson allowing it to be re-opened.


If for some reason this doesn't resolve the problem it may be necessary for the teacher (or admin) to clear the lesson using the dashboard, following the steps below;


  1. Click "Classes" then "View" from the left menu
  2. Select the class that the student is in.
  3. View the student in question's work history by clicking their username
  4. Select the lesson that is locked and click the delete attempt (eraser) icon


The lesson state should now be reset and the user can continue with their work.


The above method can also be used by teacher or admin users, should their own lesson state become locked, via their own history page.
