This procedure should only need to be done once for a hose. When hoses have been filled it is important to check the hydraulic fluid level. If it is below half way in the site glass level it will need to be topped up.
1. To fill a hose with hydraulic fluid, connect one end of the hose to the Supply and the other end to the Return, as shown.
2. Turn on the pump.
3. Open the supply valve.
4. Wait 1 to 2 seconds then close the supply valve.
Repeat steps 1 to 4 for each hose.
When all hoses have been filled turn off the pump.
